[3]    Echo Chamber

Bezalel, 4th year, fall semester;
guided by Nomi Geiger

Echo Chamber is an audio-visual installation examining the American Beat movement and the influence of its values on the growth of counterculture after World War II.

This project is an attempt to raise the question of whether the values of the beatniks and their influence on the
post-war generation have practicability in todays social climate and its resulting echo-box. Is resistance possible in a world full of regurgitated content ready for consumption? Are we able to reach audiences bigger than our close circles?
